New MACSE forums
Missing And Child Sexual Exploitation forums (MACSEs) have been remodelled so that sexual exploitation concerns relating to any child, potential perpetrator or location can be submitted for information sharing. There are three MACSE’s in Devon covering the North, the South and Exeter & East. Any professional who has a CSE concern in relation to a child or young person should undertake a CSE Risk Assessment and follow the guidance depending on the risk – you may need to make a MASH enquiry as well as submitting the assessment to the MACSE email box to identify if any other agency has relevant information. If you know the child is open to social care you should liaise with the child’s social worker about your concerns so that they can complete the assessment within the individual’s record and ensure actions and submissions to MACSEs are coordinated.
Suspected Perpetrator / Location of Concern

If you have concerns about a suspected CSE perpetrator or location you should complete this submission form and send it to the Police Central Safeguarding Team and the MACSE email box.

CSE Consultation Line
The Child Sexual Exploitation Consultation Line (0345 155 1071) provides a place where professionals and partner agencies who are external to Devon Children's Social Work can receive advice and discuss concerns relating C.S.E.  Enquiries will be managed by The Customer Service Centre and forwarded onto The REACH Team when appropriate.  Any enquiries with a child protection content will be passed on by The Customer Service Centre to the Devon M.A.S.H.
