NPS (‘legal highs’) change in the law

A change in the law means that if you have any “legal highs” (sometimes called New Psychoactive Substances) and share them with or sell them to your friends or anyone else, you can now face prosecution.
On 26 May 2016, the Psychoactive Substances Act came into place, making it illegal to supply, sell, import or export any psychoactive substances (substances that produce effects that mimic those of controlled drugs – otherwise known as “Legal Highs”)
Anyone caught supplying or selling these substances could face up to 7 years in prison.
